Strain, Phenotype, Pheno – All words describing the type of cannabis plant you are looking at.

Cannabis has 3 main strains

• Sativa
• Indica
• Ruderalis

Sativa

Sativa is the strain best used during the day, when you need to be awake and be active. Think Stimulating. A favorite to help with social anxiety, depression and to bring out your creative side.

Indica

Inactive – Indica will chill you, make you feel euphoric and relaxed. Get a strong strain and you will get couch locked. unwilling or unable to get up and get anything done.

Ruderalis

Very important to breeders, but not in demand by any growers. Ruderalis has almost no psychoactive effect as it has very low levels of THC and CBD. But it is the auto-flowering properties that makes it a (unknown) popular for home growers.

A fourth Pheno is a Hybrid. Hybrids are created when you have cross pollination between different plant strains.
